Disc injury care in Syracuse, Utah
Disc-related symptoms may stay near the spine or extend into an arm or leg. Because similar symptoms can have different causes, the right starting point is an exam rather than a treatment assumption.
Symptoms worth evaluating
- Neck or back pain with arm or leg symptoms
- Tingling, numbness or burning in a limb
- Pain affected by bending, sitting, coughing or lifting
- A flare-up after loading, twisting or impact
Careful screening comes first
Dr. Elmore evaluates symptom patterns, movement and relevant neurologic findings. Existing imaging is reviewed when available, and additional imaging or referral may be recommended when indicated.
Options depend on the exam
For suitable cases, conservative care may include chiropractic treatment, spinal decompression and activity recommendations. The plan changes if your response or findings point elsewhere.
Get urgent care when needed. Seek urgent care for new bowel or bladder changes, groin numbness, progressive weakness, fever, unexplained weight loss or symptoms after major trauma.
Your first visit has three parts.
